Presented by the Connecticut Land Conservation Council and UConn CLEAR. This course is the follow up to the introductory training offered by CLEAR and the CLCC.
This is a new training, designed specifically for those who have taken the introductory course or otherwise have experience with using a hand-held GPS unit for conservation easement monitoring, enforcement and stewardship. This advanced training will focus on monitoring and management strategies including documentation of violations, reading and understanding surveys, and options for creating/saving maps and will provide participants with an opportunity to build upon their existing GPS skills. This training will include both classroom instruction and field training, with ample opportunity for Q&A and troubleshooting.
