2010 Dates of Landsat Overpass of Connecticut

Below are the dates that Landsat 5 and Landsat 7 pass over Connecticut (World Reference System Path 13 Row 31 and Path 12 Row 31). As indicated on the map to the right, Path 13 Row 31 covers most of Connecticut and is the image in which we are most interested.

Seechi Disk Transparency (SDT) should be collected as near to the dates highlighted below as is possible (although plus or minus up to seven days is perfectly adequate).

- When collecting Secchi Disk Transparency data, we request you follow these simple guidelines (click here).

- If you need a Data Collection Form for use in the field, you can download one here.

NOTE: One SDT sample (consisting of three measurements taken at a single sample location) for a given lake on a given date is all we require for this project. However, we would encourge additional samples from other locations on the lake to help determine within lake water clarity variability. If you take SDT samples at more than one location, please use separate collection sheets for each sample location and input the data as separate samples below. In the case of multiple sample locations per lake, it is important to provide the coordinate location of each of these sample sites.
